The model of the exhibition at the The Center of Leif Eiriksson is from the Settlement Center in Borgarnes. There are two exhibitions, one based on the Saga of Egill Skallagrímsson and the other based on the settlement exhibition, which tells of all the main settlers of Iceland.
Visitors to the The Center of Leif Eiriksson will also enjoy visiting Eiríksstaðir in Haukadalur, the home of Eric the Red and birthplace of Leifur Eiríksson. You can take a guided tour of a longhouse to learn what life was like during that period.
